Mooring Recovery Update
Recovery is going great. Monday recovered NI and NB moorings successfully. Divers attached lines and the anchors were recovered also. CTDs were made in the evening--CH5 to CH10.
Tuesday we recovered the Met buoy with anchor. We also recovered NM using the acoustic release and leaving the anchor behind--as the spar had been cut loose. Some of the instruments on this mooring were damaged probably at the same time the spar was cut--trawling activity? We then deployed and recovered a test mooring that will permit picking up anchors without using divers. We are now heading for Newport to quickly off load some mooring gear before heading to the south line off Heceta Bank.
