Subject: W0301A - Final Report

Coasters:

This is the second and final report of the mooring deployment cruise
(W0103A) on the RV Wecoma.  

Except for the first day, the weather and seas were calm.  The deployments
went well.  All tasks were accomplished, and we returned a day early.  A
summary of the activity is given below:

Moorings:
     Deployed 4 COAST moorings 1/4 nm north of 45 deg as follows:

          Inner shelf (DNI):  45deg 0.248'N; 124deg 4.097'W  water depth = 50m

          Mid Shelf (DNM):    45deg 0.250'N; 124deg 8.665'W, water depth = 96m

          Met Buoy (DMet):    45deg 0.24'N; 124 9.62'

          Shelf Break (DNB):  45deg 0.257'N; 124deg 12.704'W, water depth = 129m
     
     Recovered and redeployed Kosro's Globec mooring at:
          44deg 38.621'N; 124deg 18.380'W, water depth = 81 m
