Report for May 21-22, work along CH line
Completed Chameleon cross section 05, good sampling of a solitary wave moving onshore.
Fixed depth pump station between CH-3&4 (90 m deep), 12 depths sampled
3 ADCP transects along line, then fixed depth pump station at CH-1.
Chameleon cross section 06 finished at 21:30 local time.
For in-line sampling everything is working well. All five channels for nutrients now running. Simultaneous turbulence and pump profiling, with profiling pump sampling upper 100 m and then holding Chameleon at surface while profiling pump goes all the way to the bottom every third profile.
Core of jet moved onshore and is very weak compared to previous two days.
Weak winds, sunny weather (not as hot as Corvallis or Newport) and a nice barbecue on the fantail today.
