We departed Newport at 15:30 and arrived at the CH line about 18:00 local time. Along the transit crab pots mostly along the 30 fathom isobath, strings of pots at

45 00.4 124 07.5Radio contact with Murray Levine, WECOMA to get mooring locations. Sighted all four moorings along CH line. Completed two ADCP surveys along, weak southward flow. CTD completed at CH 2,4,5,6. Friday plans,continued testing in the vicinity of CH5, for profiling, pumping and towing configuration. We were not able to download images from the COAST site yesterday. Next report Sat morning, e-mail transfer from Thompson 4 times per day.
