Subject: Revelle Report Jan 13-16
We made steady progress loading the ship Jan 13-15 and left the dock Jan 15 at 18:00. The weather has been fantastic and it has been a very comfortable ride north so far. On Jan 16 we stopped at 34 14' N (just off Pt. Conception) for a test deployment and towing of Burke's sled and Moum's profiler from 13:00-17:00 (local time). There were a few bugs in each and both groups are taking care of the problems today while we continue north. Our location at 09:00 local time Jan 16 is at 37 N.
I received Mike's message about the NH surface buoys atnd will pass that on to the bridge.
Happy loading and sailing to the WECOMA crew!
